REDROW has announced its arrival in Plymouth by supporting Plymouth Albion rugby club, including the development of its new East Stand.

With its involvement in the Devonport regeneration project and the launch of a new apartment scheme in Plympton, Redrow has recognised the need to raise awareness of the company name in and around the city.

The house builder is sponsoring the rugby club over a period of five years, and together with existing pledges, the club is now two-thirds of the way to its total for the new stand, which will include a covered area and plans for a full range of bars and other supporter facilities within.

The club which is aiming to develop its Brickfield stadium to meet Premiership criteria.

Louise Kessell, Sales & Marketing Manager for Plymouth Albion RFC, said: "Not only has Redrow come on-board to assist with our development but we intend to work together extremely closely on our Healthy Eating Campaign and local community work, especially concentrating on the area of Devonport where we are situated".
